I can't say that I'm all that pleased that the news about my upcoming wedding to Peggy was made public in the way that it was. But I can't change that now, so I'll confirm. Yes, we are getting married. Yes, we've already told our close family and friends - if you weren't among them, I'm sorry. We want it to be a small, private ceremony and with all the nastiness happening lately, we thought that best.

But really? I don't care what people are saying. I don't know the ones saying it, I don't want to know them, and I don't care about their opinions. It's obvious that they aren't worth the time or effort, and frankly, I find it terribly sad that so many others are so caught up in the life of someone they don't like.

The point of this entry is to ask our friends and family to ignore the troublemakers. They quite enjoy the attention, so why encourage them by responding?

Thanks and we hope to see some of you at the wedding.

If mum asks me one more time if I'm going to come back to church, I think I might tell her that I'm converting to Judaism. Bloody hell, can't a bloke just not go to church for a few months without the third degree?

And what the hell is John's problem? Can't he just be supportive? Does he have to try to lecture me about how I'm not setting a good example? He's been around mum too long. I wonder if he's jealous.

Peggy
We need to start planning things. I mean, don't we?

Veronica
Did John and Lucinda seem upset with me at dinner? I think they are. Are they trying to get pregnant?

Hestia
So ... did I tell you that I'm getting married? Because I am and soon, too. I'm trying to tell my friends before it gets out officially.

Me and all of my brothers bought our mum roses. She now has four dozen. Maybe we ought to talk to each other next year.

I'm telling my friends today that we're getting married.

Veronica
I'm still alive. It was touch and go there for a moment when we told her parents, but I'm still alive.

    And we're getting married.

Robbie, Brad
I'm getting married. And our parents all know. Thank God that's over.

Ludo, Mattie
Tell the broom bunnies that Keeper Brown will soon be off the market for good. I'm getting married.

Thank God that horrid bill didn't pass. I don't want my son growing up in a world where children are kidnapped and raised by others. And I don't think there'd be much proper raising going on, either.

Mum's started on me about coming to church. I don't know what to say to her really. I don't think she's believing my 'I'm too busy.' Well, I know she's not. She told me so and that if I didn't find time for God, there'd be Hell to pay. I hope she doesn't mean that literally, but I think she does.

How am I going to break the news about the baby? That's not going to go over well.

Peggy
I saw a potential cottage for us in the paper today. It's in the middle of nowhere, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It needs a bit of repair work and upkeep is part of the bargain, but it seems reasonable. Want to go look at it with me today?

Veronica
Mum's caught on to me not going to church. You don't need to cover for me anymore.

Robbie, Brad
Any chance of a pint sometime soon? My last game's this weekend and I could use it.

I congratulate the Wizengamot on making the only decision it could.

    How're you doing?

I think a healer should look at you to make sure everything's alright. Veronica probably knows a good one. And she'll know a lot herself, too.

Robbie, Brad
We're still on for tonight, right?

I can't believe this. This is madness, utter madness. I can't have gotten her pregnant. The test has to be wrong. It has to be.

    Buggering hell.

And why the hell did she say no? That's bloody ridiculous! What's she going to do on her own? She'll be a mess. She is a mess. I'm a mess

What am I going to do? Mum and Dad are going to be livid.

Brad, Robbie
I was right to worry about Peggy. She's preg We're having

They're not going to take Pete away from Mum and Dad. I think it's a bit late for that and they're not stupid enough to try that.

Peggy
Alright? You've been really quiet lately. I'm worried about you.

Brad, Robbie
Peggy's been acting a bit odd lately. Tell me I shouldn't worry.

Mary, Greta
Is Peggy alright? She's been quiet lately. I haven't done anything to upset her, have I? I would hope she'd tell me, but ... well, if I have, tell me so I can fix it. Please?

Taking Muggleborns away from their families is cruel. I grew up just fine, thanks, even when Mum thought I was possessed and tried to have me exorcised. That being said, I don't think it'd be a bad idea to tell us before we get our letters. It'd save us a whole hell of a lot of worry and confusion.

Well, that's not a shock. I just don't know what that says for the DMLE, if they thought a bloke like Mycroft Savage was a Death Eater. Then again, if he is, what does it say about the DMLE that they couldn't find more evidence? Whatever the result, this trial hasn't made me trust the Ministry any more.

Sherlock
Congratulations, mate. I knew it'd end up like this, but it's good to know that the Wizengamot isn't completely mad. Give your brother my best wishes, yeah?

Peggy
    How are you doing, babe?

Brad
Doing well, mate? It's been ages. We should get drinks soon.

Veronica
When's the funeral? Do you want me to go with you?

So this is week two since I've been to church. Is it awful of me that I don't miss getting up and going to Mass? I know what Mum and Veronica and Father Michael would say, but I don't know if I care. There's so many rules and really? What makes sleeping with someone so awful? If God wanted us not to, then He wouldn't have made it feel so good. And it's not like I'm the only Brown bloke to have sex before marriage. If John and Lucinda waited, I'll eat my Quidditch kit.

I just hope Veronica doesn't tell Mum. The last thing I need is her harping on me, too. And she'd just give me that Look.

Then again, maybe they're right. I still haven't asked Peggy about anything.

Peggy
So ... how are you? Feeling alright? Have you had your

Good on you, mates, for getting in the play. Break legs and all that.

Puddlemere versus Arrows tonight. Barring a very quick game, I don't think I'll be able to make it. Have fun for those attending.

And those who are coming to the game are in for watching the Arrows getting their arses handed to them!

Still want me to come over?

And have you read the paper lately? If not, don't.

Private to Dorcas Meadowes

Hi Ms. Meadowes. This is Tommy Brown. I said that I'd help you with the Muggleborn Week. I've decided that Have you read Ms. Wadcock's letter to the editor in today's paper? She makes some good points about how Purist Week is divisive.

Can we make How can we I don't want Muggleborn Week to be divisive. I mean, anymore than it will have to be with Death Eaters or purists or whomever going around attacking innocent girls and children. I don't know what I'm saying, really, but I don't want anyone to accuse us of being divisive, too. If that makes sense.

Brill letter to the editor. Well said, Ms. Wadcock.

One of Peggy's mates is in St. Mungo's after being attacked. They did something to Peggy, too. Do you know anything?

I can't say I wouldn't mind a few prayers for them, either. I'm at Peggy's for the time being.

Warded to Sherlock

Sorry, mate. Write if I can do something.

There's so bloody much I want to say just now, but it'll only make it worse this sums up a lot of what I'm thinking:

Proverbs 6:16-19 - These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

So to all those who go around hurting innocent people for no reason other than you don't like their family or their opinions or their robes or whatever it is that gets your attention? Get the fuck over yourselves.

So when a girl describes something as 'nice' is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Do the girls talk about the blokes in the locker room or anything?

All this talk of Christmas makes me realize that I hate shopping. Perhaps I can convince my sister to do my share. What do you say, Ronnie?

    Are you still being difficult?

Brad

    Brill party last night.

Your bloke is a nice sort. Good job I'm glad I got to meet him. Did you really mean to snog him in front of I hope you had a good time, too. I mean, you looked like you were, mate. Have to admit I was wondering when you were going to come up for air.
